[TC GAD/GE Training of Trainers] In a concerted effort to foster gender-sensitive communication and inclusivity within the cooperative, TC officers, GAD trainers, and selected TC employees convened at the TC Function Hall on April 20, 2024, for a pivotal Training of Trainers session on GAD-Based Communication for Leaders.
Ma’am Salome A. Ganibe, the Senior Consultant of Gender Equality Resource Center (GERC) Inc. and the Executive Director of Asian Women in Cooperative Development Forum (AWCDF), took the floor to discuss the intricacies of GAD-based communications, providing participants with a robust foundation to build upon. The lecture continued with participants actively engaging in reflections on implementing gender-sensitive communication strategies in their respective roles.
The training marks a crucial moment in Tagum Cooperative’s journey in creating an environment marked by inclusivity, fairness, and respect for all.
