Recently, the Community Development (ComDev) Department headed by Ma. Adiosa C. Embat and the Community Development Officer Ms. Angenel Clariz D. Rufon successfully brought joy to over fifty (50) children, accompanied by their parents and guardians, who gathered for the much-anticipated “Regalo de Pasko Celebration for Batang Palengke” on December 14, 2023 at the TC Gymnasium.
The festivity commenced with a warm welcome address and opening remarks by Dir. Nenita R. Malbas, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors. Dir. Gertrudes Yap then delivered an inspirational message, instilling a sense of hope, love and giving as we embrace the Christmas season.
The day unfolded with engaging games orchestrated by Ms. Rufon, and the excitement soared when Dir. Malbas herself led some of the activities, creating moments of joy and bonding with the children.
With the spirit of giving filling the air, the highlight of the celebration was the gift giving to the children that brought smiles and happiness to their faces.
The event concluded with remarks by Dir. Boy Binag, expressed gratitude and emphasized the importance of community and shared joy during this festive occasion.“Regalo de Pasko Celebration for Batang Palengke” not only brightened the lives of the children but also showcased the power of community and compassion in creating meaningful celebrations.
