The Tagum Cooperative Gymnasium came alive on November 25, 2023, as the 17th Himsug Pamilya Program (HPP) anniversary gathered cooperative members for community well-being and health activities, showing the real essence of mutual help.

The celebration started with a warm welcome from the Chief Executive Officer, Juris D. Perez. In her opening remarks, she expressed her gratitude to the community for their continuous support over the years. She highlighted the program’s journey, emphasizing its positive impact on countless families and individuals for their patronage of the products and services of the Himsug Pamilya Program (HPP).

Following the welcome message, the audience was treated to an inspirational address by the Vice Chairperson of the Board, Dir. Hermarie T. Esmael. She shared words of encouragement, reflecting on the HPP’s achievements and the collective efforts of the community. Her motivational words set the tone for the day as she interacted with some of the audience through an interview.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the array of health and wellness activities available to attendees. Participants had the opportunity to indulge in a rejuvenating half-body massage, ensuring relaxation and stress relief. The event also offered essential health services, including eye check-ups, dental check-ups, and simple extractions, providing comprehensive care for the member’s diverse needs.

BMI (Body Mass Index) consultations were also conducted to promote awareness of healthy lifestyle choices, and medical consultations were offered with complementary medicines. The event showed HPP’s commitment to addressing immediate health concerns and empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to live healthier and longer lives.

As the day unfolded, it became evident that the 17th HPP Anniversary was more than a milestone. It was a celebration of unity, legacy, and a shared commitment to the community’s well-being. The event encapsulated the spirit of the Members Benefit and Assistance mission, which is to foster peace of mind in every individual and live in a healthier and happier community and family.
