Tagum Cooperative continues to nurture financial literacy and responsibility among the youth as it celebrates the 15th anniversary of the TC Youth Laboratory Cooperative at the TC Function Hall on January 11, 2025.


Among the attendees of the occasion were the Board of Directors, Senior Management, the Youth Committee Officers, staff, and the assembly of youth community-based members.
Symbolizing the progressive milestone of the Youth Laboratory over the past 15 years, a grand motorcade commenced on the road of Tagum City.
Attendees proudly paraded in support of the cooperative’s advocacy for youth financial empowerment. Afterward, a formal program was held at the Function Hall, gathering all attendees as key figures delivered messages on the indispensable role of the youth in cooperative development and financial growth.


During the program, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors Dir. Rosamaria S. Torrejano warmly welcomed the distinguished guests who joined the celebration. This was followed by an acknowledgment of participants delivered by the Secretary of the Youth Committee Mr. Darwin F. Suyat.
Chief Executive Officer Juris D. Perez expressed her gratitude to parents who become role models to their children by imparting values on the importance of saving for their future.
Ms. Perez also stated that Tagum Cooperative will continue to provide activities and programs that educate young people on the essence of responsible resource management.


As the program proceeded, a master teacher from Laureta Elementary School, Ms. Alice S. Ortuyo, shared her words of gratitude to Tagum Cooperative following the memorable moment of the Chairperson of the Youth Committee, Dir. Josephine L. Fadul initiated the toast and cake-slicing ceremony, commemorating the herald journey of TC Youth Laboratory Cooperative.
The enriching celebration ended with a closing message from the Vice Chairperson of the Youth Committee, Dir. Hermarie T. Esmael believed that by investing in the youth today, the cooperative envisions a future where financial responsibility and cooperative values remain deeply embedded in the generations to come.
