The South Summer Capital of the Philippines is the newest location of Tagum Cooperative’s satellite Office situated at Claro M. Recto St., Barangay 01, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. 

The 25th Business Center opened on October 16, 2021 attended by TC Officers, Management and Staff, partners and some members. Also following the new normal is the attendance of some Members of the Board of Directors and Committee Officers via Zoom including TC Chairperson Noel O. Quidilla.

As Tagum Cooperative tradition goes, the grand celebration started with the motorcade around the major thoroughfares of Malaybalay followed by the office blessing officiated by Rev. Fr. Angel Comabig Jr. and a short program.

Physically present during the event was TC Vice Chairperson Dir. Janet T. Matuguinas, CPA, DBA, who delivered her heartfelt message for the honorable guests in attendance during the significant milestone. “Thank you Malaybalay City and the Province of Bukidnon for welcoming us here in your place. I hope that our presence will contribute to the economic development of Bukidnon as well as the social and economic well-being of your residents. We are happy to serve you and we hope that the TC Staff of our Malaybalay Satellite Office will live up to their commitment. Thank you.” Dir. Matuguinas states.

Evidence of the good relationship of the Government of Bukidnon and Tagum Cooperative is the presence of Atty. Paul Vincent Villegas, Provincial Legal Officer as he reads Bukidnon Governor Jose Maria Zubiri’s message during the program. A warm congratulation was given to Tagum Cooperative for contributing to the lives of the constituents of Bukidnon for giving its people an opportunity to start their livelihoods. “The opening today of Tagum Cooperative (in Malaybalay) demonstrates the resiliency of the cooperative despite these trying times. The services that you will give to not only your members but to non-members during this pandemic will help them bridge difficult times going to the new normal for them to be able to sustain their livelihood. Thank you Tagum Cooperative.” Atty. Villegas states.

In his acceptance speech, Satellite Office Head, Mr. Rother Ombajin accepts the responsibility being put on his shoulders to handle TC Malaybalay. “We will do our best to serve you with excellent customer service – expect more than what you have already expected. Tagum Cooperative Malaybalay is more than ready to serve you”

One of two Tagum Cooperative satellite offices present in the Region is TC Valencia City Satellite Office which opened its doors in 2018 located at Mina Town Square, Purok 15 Bagontaas, Valencia City, Bukidnon.
